Chloe began her career in financial crime and compliance, believing
technology belonged to people with entirely different backgrounds.
Curiosity changed that. Through courses, experimentation and
evenings of learning she forged a new career in AI transformation. Her
previous experience became her advantage, grounding her work in
governance, responsibility and a determination to build technology
people can trust. Today, Chloe helps others approach change with
confidence especially women who have never seen themselves
reflected in technology. Her journey proves that changing career is
not starting again: it is carrying your experience forward, opening a
new door and holding it open for others.
Clare Parry is Co-Founder and Head of Operations at Head for Data,
an award-winning Scottish data and AI consultancy. After 16 years in
NHS medical physics, the Chartered Scientist took a leap into
technology entrepreneurship in 2025, exchanging an established
career for the challenge of building a business. Since then, she has
helped drive sevenfold revenue growth, led the company's
achievement of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification within five months,
and helped create eight Scottish jobs. Her journey has come full circle:
from attending Business Gateway courses to designing and delivering
data, automation and AI workshops for other businesses.
